Our Value Service Plan provides a tune-up, discounts on repairs, 50% off diagnostic fees and guaranteed emergency service, 24 hours a day. If you have no heat, we’ll be at your home within four hours.
Our VIP Service Plan is available for a few more dollars each month, and includes everything in the Value Plan—and more. Our VIP Service Plan is one of New Hampshire and Maine's premier service plans. PROPANE
Customers who have propane systems can receive comprehensive coverage with a D.F. Richard Value and VIP Propane Heating Service Plans. These plans include system tune-ups for less than you would pay for the tune-ups alone.
HEATING TUNE-UP INCLUDED WITH BOTH PLANS
An annual tune-up will be performed once during the service agreement term during regular working hours. The tune-up includes the following:
- test and adjust the gas burner, including pilot, for maximum efficiency, using combustion testing equipment
- inspect the combustion chamber
- oil all motors on the burner, blower and circulators
- inspect wiring
- safety check all operating controls

Regular maintenance keeps your system working at peak efficiency and also gives our technicians a chance to catch minor wear and tear before it turns into major trouble down the road.

Tank Protection, available for above ground and basement tanks with a capacity of 330 gallons or less, is a valuable addition to your service plan coverage. It includes the following:- tank replacement protection of up to $2,000. If your tank needs to be replaced, we’ll install a new one and you’ll save up to $2,000 because of your service plan.
